Notice of Additional Survey Results on Unauthorized Access for Part-time Staff Management System

2026.07.24

To everyone involved in our employment part-time staff

Regarding the unauthorized access to the part-time management system that occurred in May this year, we deeply apologize for any inconvenience and concern to the part-time staff and other related parties.
We will inform you of the results of the survey by a specialized research organization as follows, including the newly discovered items.

In addition, no traces or facts indicating the outflow of personal information has been confirmed in the investigation by an external specialized research organization to date.

・Outline of the press release on May 8, 2026

The part-time staff database connected to the server that received unauthorized access contains information on up to 1,338 part-time staff members stored in accordance with laws and regulations for the past five years. After the discovery, we contacted part-time staff members who were currently registered and worked for the past five years individually.

・Items that have been newly discovered through additional investigations since the press release

As a result of the detailed investigation, log data containing personal information from September 13, 2015, which records the operation of part-time staff using the smartphone reception site on a part-time job application reception server that received unauthorized access Was left. As a result of a detailed scrutiny of these data (including data previously reported on May 8), the number of eligible persons was 7,582.

In addition, as a result of an investigation by a specialized agency, it is highly likely that this unauthorized access was exploited by a security vulnerability in software to manage the server, which was installed on a part-time application server, an external system.

・Alerts to the target people (requests)

No trace of information leakage has been confirmed, but in order to make every possible effort, we have provided the following information and alerts.

[For those who have registered a part-time job after September 13, 2015]

・If you are using the same or similar password as the password used by the system for other services, please consider changing it.

・We do not send e-mails or telephones to ask for "password input" or "provision of personal information". Please be careful of suspicious contacts.

・If you have registered emergency contact information or referral information at the time of registering a part-time job, please inform these related parties about this matter and pay close attention to suspicious communication etc. Thank you for your attention.

We consulted with the Aichi Prefectural Police immediately after the discovery of the matter and reported it to the Personal Information Protection Committee. Up to now, additional reports have been made to the Aichi Prefectural Police on July 18 and the Personal Information Protection Committee on July 23 regarding the results of surveys conducted by external specialized organizations. We will continue to strive to prevent recurrence and enhance information security.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience and inconvenience caused to the parties concerned.
